Gift Guides: The Leopard Lover
For the first of our gift guides this year we're tackling - the Leopard Lover. We've all got that friend who loves a bit of Kat Slater vibes in her life (I think that might be me in my friendship groups!) and it's a print that has been especially popular this autumn/winter. But what do you buy the ultimate leopard lover when she's already got a wardrobe full of this seasons' favourite print? Well, accessories of course!
I don't know a woman on this earth that doesn't appreciate snuggling down in a long cardigan at the end of the day, and this boho dreamy leopard print version from Little Lies will take her from sofa to supermarket while still looking stylish as hell. Our brand new glitter leopard berets come in a whole bunch of different colour options - though this pink and red combo will forever by my favourite! They're perfect if your animal print lover likes things a little on the fancier side and you're more likely to find her in tea dresses than ripped jeans.
Our Leopard Silk Scarves have been a smash hit this season and we think we know why; available in four different colours, they can be worn in the hair, as a bandana, tied to a bag, looped around your wrist.. the possibilities are; well not endless but you get the idea. It's a versatile and affordable way to get some leopard in your wardrobe - perfect if your pal is the type of gal who only likes to be seen in a look once, 'cause she'll have fun styling it up loads of different ways! While strictly not speaking leopard print per se, these tortoiseshell earrings from our faves Little Nell come gift boxed and ready to give.
So what if your BFF has had the patter of tiny feet recently/ is expecting? IMHO, leopard is a neutral so perfect for any stylish bebe! The Scamp and Dude romper is on my personal 'one day' wishlist - I only wish it came in adult size tbh! The Fred and Noah leggings are organic and have a large range of sizes - from newborn to twelve months. They can even be made in premature sizes on request.
Tots Trove is a store from the brainchild of now defunct Cheap Frills - this time Georgia has teamed up with her mama to bring you a treasure trove for alternative babies and tots! This leopard kimono set is a personal highlight in all the cuteness available. And if you want a gift that'll last more than a few months, this leopard print bandana bib is also just £5!
If your friend is more up for creating a new nest than feathering it (is that the right phrase?!) then leopard print homeware would be a great gift for new homeowners who've probably had to spend far too much money on boring adult things to begin decorating! The Martha and Hempsie leopard print lampshade would look incredible in a dark and cosy snug or fashionable bedside table. I'm personally wondering how I can sneak these leopard print cushions into my home without my husband noticing as he's recently put a ban on 'anymore f*cking cushions' the spoilsport.
The Leopard Pencil Pot by Quail Ceramics would be a great gift for your work pal so she can spice up her desk a little. Personally I'd pop this in my bathroom and have it poking out from my peace lilly as a tropical toothbrush holder! And last but by no means least, a motivational print from our pals Oh Squirrel would always go down a treat, especially when it's encouraging our new favourite pasttime.
